At Wired Snowboards, snowboarding starts at home. We build boards in Vancouver, ride the same hills we grew up on, and stay connected to the people who keep local snowboarding alive. That’s why we’re proud to sponsor the park staff at Mount Seymour.
This partnership isn’t about logos or visibility—it’s about supporting the people who shape the culture from the ground up.

Mount Seymour holds a special place in snowboarding history on the North Shore. Long before snowboarding became fully mainstream, Seymour was known as a mountain that welcomed riders early and helped give the sport space to grow. That openness mattered. It allowed snowboarders to develop their own style, community, and identity at a time when the culture was still forming.
The mountain’s natural terrain—short laps, playful transitions, and accessible pitches—made it a perfect environment for freestyle progression. Over the years, Seymour became a proving ground where riders learned tricks, filmed clips, and pushed each other to progress. Night riding sessions, park laps after school or work, and endless repetitions built a culture rooted in consistency, creativity, and camaraderie.
For many riders, Seymour wasn’t just where they learned to snowboard—it’s where they learned how to be snowboarders.

Snowboard culture, especially men’s snowboard culture, has always been deeply tied to terrain parks. Parks are where style develops, where progression happens, and where friendships are built session by session. None of that exists without dedicated park crews.
The Mount Seymour park staff work behind the scenes shaping landings, fixing features, and keeping the park riding properly day after day. It’s early mornings, long nights, cold hands, and constant problem-solving—all to create a space where riders can express themselves and progress safely.
We’re proud to support the people doing that work. Sponsoring the park crew is our way of giving back to the foundation of the culture that gave so much to us.

Supporting Mount Seymour means supporting the local snowboard community—past, present, and future. It means backing the riders lapping the park after work, the younger generation learning their first tricks, and the crews who quietly keep everything running.
As a local snowboard brand, we’re honored to partner with Mount Seymour and its park staff. This is where snowboarding culture lives, evolves, and stays real.
