The Wired Snowboard Size Calculator makes it easy to find the right snowboard size for you. Simply enter your height, weight, and the type of terrain you like to ride, and the calculator will suggest a recommended board length based on our sizing formula.
This snowboard calculator is an estimate for choosing the right size of board. Please use this as a starting point for finding the right snowboard length. Go to your local shop and they will help you find the perfect size snowboard.
If you’ve got larger feet, choosing the right board width is just as important as length. If your boots stick too far over the edges, you risk heel or toe drag, which can throw off your turns.
As a general rule:
Mid-Wide boards work well for men’s US sizes 10–12.
Wide boards are best for men’s US sizes 11–12+ for added stability and better carving without boot drag.
You should have about 1–2 cm (¼ to ¾ inch) of boot overhang on each side for ideal control. Wide boards also offer extra stability and deeper carving, especially in powder or on landings.
If your boot size is borderline, you can adjust your stance or binding angles to reduce overhang and stick with a standard width if preferred.
