Each custom snowboard is handmade to order in Vancouver. Production typically takes 35–50 days after final artwork approval.
International customers are responsible for any applicable VAT, duties, or import taxes.

DIRECTIVE CUSTOM EXAMPLES
We make a lot of custom boards every year. It’s always fun to see how creative people can be. When you have a designer that wants a board I know it’s going to be something special. This is by far our favorite part of owning a factory. Making a board for people is incredibly rewarding.
BOARD MATERIALS
01. Topsheet: Glossy PBT. We do not add toxic lacquer for these boards.
02. Biaxial fiberglass: Biaxial consists of two layers that are stitched together. The two layers runs 0 ̊/90 ̊ degrees to each other creating a smooth feel while provides pop.
03. Woodcore: Full length Poplar wood core.
04. Sidewall: We use state of the art Urethane that runs the whole perimeter of the wood core for a perfect bond. Urethane is extremely damp and makes for a better overall ride.
05. Entropy Resins: Super SAP 305 - 305 is a USDA Certified BioPreferred® Product with 28% biobased content.
06. Inserts: Stainless Steel.
07. Biaxial fiberglass: Biaxial consists of two layers that are stitched together. The two layers runs 0 ̊/90 ̊ degrees to each other creating a smooth feel while provides pop.
08. Rubber Dampening: Rubber foil between the edge and fiberglass helps with bonding. It also helps with over all board chattering.
09. Edge: Rockwell 48.
10. Base Material: Sintered IS 7500. Super durable and fast base material. Sublimated artwork.
CAMBER PROFILE
The custom Directive comes with a traditional camber. The camber runs the full length of the contact. This helps the board have more control at full speeds while offering a little more pop. The board rails when on the groomers. We also CnC a thinner zone between the bindings that results in a more playful ride.
NEGATIVE CORE PROFILE
The Directive Series comes with a negative core profile. We remove some of the wood core between the bindings to help balance the flex from tip to tail. The board feels more playful and adds foot control on all terrain.

I was not sure what to expect on the final result from a small artwork I had made in low resolution, but I wanted to do it anyway as I was not able to find a good looking board to my taste in any shop.
Got a couple of back and forth for final ajustement on the approved version. It was simple and I was happy about it.
And 1 month later I got it.
Boy I was impressed on how good the contrast, the colour and the quality of the build was: I would do it again anytime

It was time for me to finally buy a brand new board for myself. As a designer/architect I knew I needed to design the board. I found Wired Snowboards through Reddit and heard they were a great company. They definitely are. The main man, Rob, spoke with me via email throughout the whole process. Super nice guy and answered all questions I had for him.

I truly did not expect the graphics to come out as clean as they did!! I was shocked for how beautiful the overall board looks.

I asked them to go a little softer on the board since I prefer a bit more flexible board. They made that happen no problem. I couldn’t wait until winter to test her out so I went to Big Snow indoor snowboarding at the American dream mall, USA. The board rides perfectly!! So smooth on the snow with great carving abilities! She’s just as good on boxes and rails too! I cannot wait to take her out to the mountains this season and give her all she gots!

I've been riding all the wired boards for 6+ years now but the Directive twin just shreds everything you can throw at it and HITS JUMPS different. I like a stiffer flex & MORE Pop/Snap so I asked wired to add tri glass and carbon stringers. With the J Cash graphic it definitely stands out on the mtn and gets a lot of love. After a disappointing experience with a different custom snowboard builder, we turned to Rob and Wired for help and the whole process couldn't have been better. Rob was able to look at the design my teen had created and adapt it to the board shape perfectly. Haven't had the chance to take the board out on the snow yet (still summer), but we are both so happy with the graphics!

After an exhaustive search for a company to build a custom snowboard for my wife’s birthday, I narrowed the options down to 2, and when I saw that Wired is a Canadian Company it got me leaning toward them. After reading the incredible reviews I was almost completely sold on Wired. Then one day I was at Lake Louise when I saw a guy holding a board that had the Wired logo on the base. I asked how he liked it. He replied “This is my second Wired board, and I won’t buy any more of the big brand names. These guys got it dialed in man, they make the best boards you can buy”. Hearing that had me stoked, so I emailed Rob Dow, and he got me all the info I needed. We got a design going, Rob helped me tweak it to make it perfect and we started the process. I had no idea how long it took to make a snowboard, and luckily for me the guys at Wired worked their asses off to get it to me in time for my wife’s birthday. The board is unreal, the guys at wired are absolute craftsmen. I have owned Libtech, Ride, Burton, Sims and Rossignol boards, and the quality of this board EASILY stands up with every one of the big brands, and I honestly believe you get more board for your buck with Wired. We wanted to have a custom snowboard made for our brand, Neon Mfg. We didn't want a generic snowboard with our logo slapped on it. We worked with the guys at Wired to create the most beautiful top sheet graphics. We were even able to customize the sidewall color so the toe and heel edges are different fluorescent colors, it's completely unique and looks amazing! We get complements and questions about the board all the time. On top of looking great, the board rides like a dream. I've been snowboarding for 28 years, and this is the best board I've ever ridden.
