Wired Devun Walsh Series

Only had this board a week and I absolutely love it! Seems to do everything pretty well, great grip carving on firm snow, super poppy off rollers, great maneuverability through the trees, feels great in the park off jumps and on rails. The only conditions I haven't tried it in yet has been fresh or deep snow, but based on everything else I would guess it'll handle pretty well

This board rides like it looks : a Canadian terrain wolf. It stalks all sorts of terrain prey and can do it all. Side hits, tombstones, rollers, pow, trees, table tops, jibs, urban (ur Mom) and your sister. RAD ENERGY with BIG POP and fast response. Well made, and made with love in Van BC. IT ROCKS. HOWL AT THE HITS with this terrain wolf!

This board is amazing. The best pop I have ever felt in a board. Carving holds like an F1 car, it sends side hits and it's a work of art. I haven't been able to take it in the park that much but I'm sure it will do just fine. 7/10 stiffness is definitely true. I'm 225-230lbs and I can just barely get it to butter. So if that's what you want then go for the Directive. PS Rob is the best!

Had the pleasure of demo'ing it for a few hours in really bad conditions, slush and water soaked me to the bone, but I had a stupid grin on my face the whole time. This things a beast, it absolutely rails turns and has stupid pop. The board I rode was already broken in, and it still sent me to the moon. Poppier than my Capita Mercury and stiffer for sure. Definitely less playful with that full camber profile. It's the one board that I keep thinking about despite trying 6+ boards during the demos. If you you're looking for a true twin with stupid pop that rails turns, this might be your board.

This is my second Walsh deck and it absolutely rips. It’s on the stiff side for sure if you’re looking for a park board, but the flex is perfect for an all around, all mountain twin. It’ll do everything you ask of it and more. If you don’t have one in your quiver, you’re truly missing out on an awesome ride!

This board does everything and exceptionally well. The pop on this board is insane. Im able to boost off any jump, side hit or roller with little to no effort. Every landing felt smooth - even when the landing was kind of sketch or flat I never felt like I was going to wash out. This thing handled super well in powder, but I have also never felt safer going down icy moguls. This was also the most I have ever felt comfortable riding switch on a new board. I wish I could give this board 10 stars out of 5.

Have taken this board out to local groomers a handful of times now and can confidently say it’s the most fun and easy to use board I’ve ever ridden. If you want a one board quiver that does it all this is the board for you. Can’t recommend Wired enough.

I ride this in everything from waist deep pow in Montana to chopped up groomers. It was a blast in every condition. Great pop and landing gear, dialed sidecut, nimble when I wanted it to be, and stable when I needed it. Give her some speed, and she will send. I have 10 other boards, and I'm not sure which conditions even call for them anymore. This thing is too much fun.

Was looking for an all mountain ripper and after hearing good things about wired, I decided to pull the trigger. The D.Walsh is an absolute all mountain weapon!

Fun flex pattern feels more like a 5/10. That being said holds a good edge through variable conditions. A little to edge grabby on the first day out. I put a 1 degree side and base bevel. That worked great for me! Maybe just could have de tuned it. But I rarely ever de tune boards. Overall, a super fun board comparable to a spring break resort twin.

I picked up last years model during the offseason so am reviewing that but I think everything is the same except the graphics.

Absolutely love this board. Took two runs on my old setup opening day to get the legs back, then started riding this and have been on it ever since. Love the full camber after riding other profiles the last many years.

This board is so much fun and I'm glad I discovered it. Definitely a well built board that puts a smile on my face the whole way down every turn it makes.

Dev & wired killed it with this one! Ive been riding the e-crack for 2 years and T-ricky before this. BUT just got on the last years dev pro at Baker, whistler and maning park for the past month and it destroys pow- cliffs and rails groomers & charges park jumps!! The 161 could be stiffer in tail for my fat 185lb butt ;P but easier to butter & pop outta pow!

This board is Top 3 for me as a daily driver. I ride this as an ATV on non deep days and it’s just a great ride. Stiff but playful, responsive but not catchy, and light! Killer pop on kickers and side hits! What else could you want?

Tried a bunch of new boards this year in a variety of shapes and sizes. Normally ride a 156 but purchased this in a 153, intending to use it for small-medium jumps, side hits, ollieing off rollers, riding switch and high speed carving/straight lining down steep hills. Considering how much marketing and hype went into some of the sidecuts and "death grip" style additions of my other boards, it is amazing that this Walsh actually grips through ice much better than the others. I did not expect that. I feel incredibly in control on this deck, and it certainly has a real premium feel to the construction overall. Love the way it loads up tension and lets me spring in and out of carves. Was slightly nervous it would be too stiff or that the level of camber would make it catchy. Did not find that to be the case at all. Absolutely in love with this deck and might sell my others if it ends up becoming used as much as I expect it to be. Thanks homies!! Very proud to own a made in Canada snowboard (you have to make sure you're paying attention to which board you order if you want one of the Canadian models!)

Snappy, responsive and stiff enough to charge anything in front of you. If you are looking for a good ol’ traditional camber snowboard you found it this sucker allows you to put an edge in when you need to but the board is forgiving enough to be playful. Rob killed the design and profile of this board. If the legend puts his name on a board you know it’s gunna be a good one! 10 out of 10

I ride the 157 and instantly enjoyed the better edge hood at higher speeds compared to my 159 Directive. Tons of pop, snappy lively feel, with a smooth edge to edge…

If it’s Devun’s board of choice you know it’s going to ride like a dream!!
