My son is 11 and has been snowboarding since he was two. This is his third board. He’s previously ridden a Capita Scott Stevens and a Jones Prodigy both excellent boards, but this Wired Prime Series has taken his riding to another level.
He told me straight up, “this board is super fast and it pops me to the moon,” and that pretty much says it all. It carries speed really well( He hit over 40mph) and has a ton of energy coming out of turns and jumps.
It also floats nice in the pow
The Goblin graphics are clutch too. Overall, just a really well-built board that’s helped him progress in a big way.
Great job by Wired. Looking forward to seeing what they come out with next as he continues to grow.
This board rides like it looks : a Canadian terrain wolf. It stalks all sorts of terrain prey and can do it all. Side hits, tombstones, rollers, pow, trees, table tops, jibs, urban (ur Mom) and your sister. RAD ENERGY with BIG POP and fast response. Well made, and made with love in Van BC. IT ROCKS. HOWL AT THE HITS with this terrain wolf!
It's a great board, I find it especially shines on deep fresh powder or in the trees.
Super maneuvrable, excellent float, decent base quality and keeps up a good speed even on flat.
It can go fast but at my weight 210lbs on a 160cm I do feel a bit unstable at high speed with the middle of the board being a bit softer under foot.
A friend of mine has the same board and has observed the same thing.
Other than that, it's all around an great board and super fun to ride.
This board is amazing. The best pop I have ever felt in a board. Carving holds like an F1 car, it sends side hits and it's a work of art. I haven't been able to take it in the park that much but I'm sure it will do just fine. 7/10 stiffness is definitely true. I'm 225-230lbs and I can just barely get it to butter. So if that's what you want then go for the Directive. PS Rob is the best!
Incredible experience from start to finish. The custom artwork exceeded my expectations, and the board itself is solid, smooth, and fun to ride. It’s rare to find something that looks this good and performs this well. Worth every penny.
Wow! I’ve been snowboarding since the 80s and have ridden multiple boards a season I currently have 8 boards I shuffle between and this blows them away, a true quiver killer, one board that does it all.
It’s light, snappy and so powerful, while being damp, so rare to find all those qualities in one board.
Wired are doing it right and I’m pretty sure I’ll be riding there boards exclusively moving forward.
Overall stoked about the board took longer than expected for the build, but definitely worth the wait can’t rush perfection maybe throw some sick stickers in next time tho for a guy
This board was purchased as a gift for my father. I cannot describe how happy and surprised he was to open this board up. He loves it. It reignited his love for snowboarding. This is all thanks to the Rob and the crew and Wired.
I snapped my Capita at the end of last season, so I decided to try something new. I heard about Wired from listening to the FNrad podcast and I love that this is a snowboarder owned company. I have been riding it about 15 days now and we haven’t had much snow here so it has pretty much all been park riding. I have felt bulletproof on this thing and I feel like it is so responsive that I can do anything I want on it. Thank you for this beautiful thing, and may I say that you make the coolest graphics ever!!
Snowboarders are picky. That’s not a bad thing. Give them the freedom to choose exactly what they want — shape, flex, graphics, and all — with a Wired Snowboards Gift Card.
